Privacy Policy
Short version: there are no accounts, no profiles, and no database of your golf data. You give the tool some numbers (and sometimes a screenshot), it does the math, and you get a result. Here's exactly what happens to it.
In a sentence
We don't store your inputs or your screenshots, we don't sell anything, and we don't publish anyone's name or results. The math runs in your browser; the only things that leave it are a course-name lookup and (if you upload screenshots) the images sent to be read.
What you give us
- Things you type: scores, handicap indexes, course and tee selections, and any name you choose to enter for a "defendant."
- Screenshots you choose to upload (score histories or a tournament results sheet).
We never ask for your identity, and you don't need an account.
Where it goes
- The calculations happen in your browser. We don't receive your scores or verdicts.
- Course search: the course name you type is sent to GolfCourseAPI to look up ratings and slope.
- Screenshots: when you upload, the image is sent to our server and forwarded to Anthropic (Claude) to read the numbers off it. We do not store the screenshots — they're processed for that single request and discarded on our end. Anthropic processes them under its privacy policy.
- Bot check: uploading triggers Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm you're human. Cloudflare processes your IP and challenge data and may set a functional/security cookie for this.
The verdict card
If you create a shareable card, it's generated in your browser. We don't post it anywhere — sharing it is entirely your choice, and you can redact the name first.
Logs & infrastructure
The site and its functions run on Vercel, fronted by Cloudflare. Like any website, these keep standard request logs (such as IP address, timestamp, and the page requested) to run the service and prevent abuse, per their own policies.
Analytics & cookies
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless tool, to count visits and page views. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't fingerprint you, and doesn't track you across other sites — it just tells us roughly how many people use the site and which pages. We run no advertising cookies and no ad trackers. Cloudflare may set functional/security cookies (including for Turnstile) so the site works and stays protected.
What we don't do
- We don't store your scores, handicaps, names, or screenshots.
- We don't sell or share your data with advertisers.
- We don't publish anyone's name or any result. Output is shown only to you, in your browser.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version.
